Boat cruise with Amsterdam Boat Events
History
The Tijd Zal 't Leeren (1914) served as a freightbarge and transported goods such as potatoes or peet. The ship could navigate the open waters by means of sail but in the narrow canals was pulled by horses or even men.
At the beginning of the century the canal barge has made it's comeback as a canal cruiser in Amsterdam. The diesel-electric propulsion makes the Tijd Zal het Leren a very quiet and environmental-friendly ship.
Tradition in a modern coating
Despite it's traditional name, the Tijd zal het Leeren (Time will tell) is a boat that offers you a youthfull atmosphere. Colour plays an important role in the interior with grey-tones and warm-orange colored surfaces. The old-fashioned wood stove refers to times long gone and adds a little nostalgia.
Adaptable to weather conditions
The removable roof and sidewindows allow for enjoying the cruise in the open, weather permitting. In case of some rain, the roof can be temporarily re-established in just a few minutes.
