When I was a tourboatcaptain, I dreamed about a better 'tour-experience'. I decided to organise informal tours with my own sailing houseboat.( Bart Buwalda skipper/owner)
That's the base of Amsterdam Boat Events, the love for sailing and Amsterdam.


If the weather permits the boats are open.
If its raining and cold we close the roof and switch the heater on.

Cruising and dining is our speciality

Dining on a boat? Our speciality is to combine sailing with a fine culinary experience. The cook will prepare your dinner, BBQ or cooking workshop during the cruise.
We are 'seaproof' in organizing informal canalcruises with tasty food served in a personal atmosphere.

Sailing cooking workshops

Under supervision of our chef you prepare your own diner while the skipper is steering the boat trough the Amsterdam canals

Smoke free boats

You are not allowed to smoke on board, but we have compassion.....
